The CPI steering committee includes representatives from local groups as well as individual residents who support the mission of the Community Planning Initiative.The purpose of these meetings is to provide guidelines for developing the Community Planning Initiative. The meetings are open and all are welcome to attend.

Our goal is to have representatives from all local neighborhood groups on this steering committee. If you are interested in joining the steering committee, please let us know.

Since Spring 2007, we have been working on forming a Community Vision statement. Our work is based on the many notes coming from the BRA's Neighborhood Planning Initiative, which are reflective of the concerns brought up at countless neighborhood meetings over the years.

Here is a draft version of this vision presented at the August 2007 City Council Candidates Forum.
